Our Story 

Established around 20 years ago, the 9th Clare – Ennistymon Scouts began with a dedicated group of local parents eager to bring the scouting spirit to Ennistymon youth. Since then, our group has grown from a handful of enthusiastic leaders and children to a full complement of Beaver, Cub, and Scout sections.

Over these years, we’ve organised dozens of outdoor adventures—from weekend camp-outs and local hikes to participation in regional jamborees—with unforgettable moments and lifelong friendships formed. Our leaders, past and present, have guided generations of young people through challenges, teamwork, and community service, while parents and community volunteers have supported behind the scenes.

We’re proud of how far we’ve come—and excited to continue building a spirit of adventure, leadership, and belonging in North Clare for years to come.
